When Ben Roth had to learn to weld in order to finish building his restaurant in the 1990s, he knew he had found a calling in metalwork. With Jackson Hole fly fishing legend John Simms as his guide, Ben was able to learn the art of welding and create both utilitarian pieces and artwork with metal.
Ben's metalwork started as the creation of artful handrails, fireplace screens, furniture, and more and over time it has evolved into commissioned sculptures and public art installations made of metal, bronze, wood, and clay.
